1. Overview

FaceAge.ai is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we deliberately do not store. If you have questions or requests related to your data, see the Contact section below.

2. Information We Collect

Email address

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored in our database and used only to send you updates from FaceAge.ai. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Payment information

If you purchase the Facial Harmony Report, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation of payment and your email address from Stripe. We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, or any other raw payment data.

Usage data

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized data about how visitors use the site — pages viewed, session duration, general location (country/region), and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

3. Photos — What We Do Not Store

Your photos are never saved to disk or a database. When you upload a photo, it is processed entirely in server memory to generate your result. Once the response is sent back to you, the image data is discarded. We do not retain, share, sell, or use your photos for any purpose beyond generating your requested result.

For the Facial Harmony Report, your photo is stored temporarily in your browser's session storage — on your device only — so that overlay graphics can be drawn client-side. It is never transmitted back to our servers for storage.

4. EXIF Data Stripping

When you upload a photo, we automatically strip all EXIF metadata (including GPS coordinates, device information, and timestamps) before processing. This protects your location privacy.

5. Third-Party Services

OpenAI

Your uploaded photo is sent to OpenAI's API to generate AI results. OpenAI processes this image under their own Privacy Policy. OpenAI's API usage policies do not allow them to use submitted data to train their models by default (API data is treated differently from ChatGPT data).

Stripe

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you purchase a report, you interact directly with Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe's Privacy Policy applies to that interaction.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how our site is used. Google may set cookies to track sessions. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Data Retention

Email addresses collected via newsletter signup are retained until you request deletion. Report results are stored temporarily (unpaid reports are deleted after 24 hours; paid reports are retained for 90 days to allow re-download), after which they are permanently deleted.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

FaceAge.ai is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
